Used Diesel and Gas Generators

Compare used diesel and gas generators for the electrical load and operating duty your project requires. Check the engine, alternator, controls and package scope together. The model name alone does not establish the offered unit's condition, rating or emissions documentation.

Model research (10)

Research records, not current offers. Open each page for the rating basis and its sources.

Compare generator ratings before prices

Ask which duty rating applies to the offer and under what conditions. Record electrical output, frequency, voltage, power factor and the manufacturer's applicable operating limits. A standby rating and a prime rating should not be compared without preserving their different bases.

Used medium-speed generators

When a request specifies a used medium-speed generator, obtain the required engine speed and operating duty along with electrical output and frequency. Confirm how the seller describes the equipment against its nameplate and manufacturer documents. Do not choose a unit from the speed label alone.

What is included in the generator package?

Establish whether the offer includes the alternator, controller, breaker, starting system, cooling, exhaust, fuel equipment and enclosure. Identify shared plant systems or missing auxiliaries. Ask for operating history, preservation records and a defined inspection and test scope.

Request used generators

Send a generator enquiry with required rating, duty, fuel, frequency, voltage and location. Use the diesel procurement guide for buying checks and the capacity and cost guide for comparing quotation scope.

Reciprocating generator sets are listed separately from gas turbines. Model pages carry each rating's duty basis and source.
