Offer a used or surplus transformer.

Offer a used, surplus or never-energized transformer you own or are authorized to offer. SecondWatt reviews it privately for sourcing opportunities.

Tell us about the transformer you own or are authorized to offer. Share the rating, voltages, cooling type, condition, test records and expected availability so SecondWatt can review the opportunity. Submit transformer details · Explore sourcing partnerships

Nameplate, Origin and Fluid

The nameplate carries most of what a buyer checks first: kVA or MVA rating, primary and secondary voltages, impedance, cooling class, frequency and year of manufacture. Say where the unit came from: a cancelled project, surplus stock, a utility or plant retirement. For liquid-filled units, tell us the fluid type and any PCB test result. Under EPA rules (40 CFR Part 761), untested mineral-oil equipment made before July 2, 1979 must be assumed PCB-contaminated.

What Happens After You Submit

Share what you know. “Not sure” is an accepted answer, and an asking price is optional. The team reviews the submission privately and contacts you if a buyer requirement fits.

Privacy and Introductions

Submitting equipment creates a record for SecondWatt’s sourcing process. It does not create a public equipment listing. No unit page, photo, serial number, price or location is published. An introduction happens only with your approval.
