How Selling Through SecondWatt Works

Share the details of your generator: manufacturer, model, rated output, condition, general location, operating hours and an asking price if you have one in mind. Supporting records help a buyer assess the unit, but they are not required to make a submission.

Our team reviews what you send and follows up with you. You approve the asking price before any listing is published, and you decide whether to approve an introduction to a prospective buyer. Pricing, transaction responsibilities and any fees are agreed before you commit. A submission does not guarantee a buyer or a completed sale.

Your company name and the exact location of the equipment are excluded from public listings, and are shared with a prospective buyer only after you approve the introduction. Details That Help Buyers Assess Your Generator

• Manufacturer, model and a photograph of the nameplate
• Rated output, duty rating, voltage and frequency
• Operating hours and the date the reading was taken
• Service and repair records
• Load-bank test report and oil analysis history, where they exist
• Photographs of the package and a list of the equipment included in the sale

State whether the generator carries a standby, prime or continuous rating. A rating is a documented fact about the package as configured, so buyers will ask for verification against the exact unit being sold.
