Equinix Data Center and Power Profile

Equinix identifies its public listing as Nasdaq: EQIX. This profile separates company-level disclosures from individual facility specifications and from equipment sourcing opportunities.

Use the reporting dates below to understand what the cited sources establish. A portfolio announcement does not provide the specification or sale status of a machine at a particular facility.

Keep ownership and operation separate

In its corrected 2026-09-02 acquisition announcement, Equinix states that the atNorth transaction completed and that atNorth will continue to operate independently under its existing brand.

Keep that ownership event separate from the operator identity attached to a facility. Do not automatically merge atNorth records into an Equinix operating-footprint total or reassign the operator because of the investment.

Historical fuel-cell disclosure

Bloom Energy reported the following figures for its US collaboration with Equinix. They describe the supplier’s disclosure on the stated date, not a current equipment inventory.

Observation Reported value Reporting period
Historical fuel-cell collaboration capacity More than 100 MW Supplier disclosure; As of 2025-02-20
Historical operational fuel-cell capacity Approximately 75 MW Supplier disclosure; As of 2025-02-20
Historical fuel-cell capacity under construction 30 MW Supplier disclosure; As of 2025-02-20

Bloom describes the fuel cells as supplementing grid power. This supports a dated on-site power reference. It does not establish electrical isolation or the generation arrangement at every Equinix facility.

Dublin: a reported technology trial

Equinix’s 2026-06-19 release describes a hydrogen power trial supporting cooling at DB3 in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Treat the release as evidence of a trial on that date. It does not establish permanent deployment, a fleet-wide specification or the trial’s subsequent outcome.

The pilot’s role and maturity differ from the supplier’s US fuel-cell portfolio disclosure. Keep the project, technology, duty and source date attached to each observation.

Footprint and facility limits

No worldwide or US facility count is published in this profile. Individual facility MW, floor-area and status fields are withheld unless their own source and definition have been checked. A count of SecondWatt records must not be labeled as Equinix’s global portfolio.

Continue to model research

Start with the equipment model dossiers. Identify the model, required configuration, condition and supporting documentation before submitting a sourcing request. A reference to a data center or operator does not establish that its equipment is for sale.
